The final day of the trip began at 9:34 when the team departed
the Yellowstone-Missouri River confluence at mile 757. At 9:45 the team passed by a herd of elk--yet another memorable moment of the Lewis and Clark hovercraft adventure. Averaging a speed of 30.8 MPH, the team continued the trek up river, making a few stops along the way. At 5:45 pm the team arrived at Fort Peck Dam, MT--their final destination. Leg two of the extraordinary Lewis and Clark expedition covered a total of 930 miles. The total distance covered by both legs was 1770 miles.
