We are at LOLO pass in Idaho. Made it to Three Forks yesterday, Thursday. Hover is running well, van not so well. So far about 400 river miles this leg and 2200 miles in all on Missouri River. Had good interview with Great Falls paper and tv station 12. Made front page so they say. Met reenactors... glad we are hovering. Also good interview in Helena, MT.
Heading down Snake, Clearwater, and Columbia later today. ON schedule... so far.... May try for TV in Lewiston. The scenery is excellent. Much better than other parts of the river. Bob's comment was that it was the best he had ever seen. Clear water, trees, and majestic mountains. Average speed is about 35 mph.
