“Hover Racers: Flying on Air” featured on the Smithsonian Channel

From small racers that reach speeds up to 85 mph to gigantic military lifters able to lift up to 60 tons – all on a cushion of air. Whether over land, water, snow, ice mud – or anything else, hovercrafts are seen as fast fun and totally amazing. The show features Universal Hovercraft employees Chris Barzinski piloting his Formula 1 race machine and Bill Zang piloting the19XRW Hoverwing™.
